An apparition like figure padded through a thick green forest. The wolf-like spirit came up to a tall oak tree completely consumed by a dense green moss. Instead of moving to the side to avoid the object, the spirit kept on going towards the tree as if it wasn't there or if she was blind and couldn't see it in front of her. The translucent figure passed through the tree, and came out the other side as if nothing happened. If most wolves were to do what she had done, they would have ran into the tree and look silly for not moving to the side to avoid it. However, Aeris was a different type of wolf, her kind possessed powers never seen in a regular wolf before. She had been blessed by Orion himself for receiving such a special power like hers and she was thankful.
The ghostly thing became more 'solid' in a sense, her fur became darker and more tangible as her body soon transformed into her regular form. The humidity of this area always made her fur feel heavier than usual. The thick scent of wet dirt clung to the air from the constant rain this forest suffers from. Almost every single rock and tree was covered in green moss and the plants that weren't were already green. It was still Fall though, which means that the leaves were turning different tints of red, yellow and orange. The sight and colors looked odd to her, deep green moss against the bark of a tree with bright red leaves. Overall, she didn't like this area, especially in the autumn.
Soon the dense forest gave way to a clearing. There was less moss here and less trees. Soft green moss still covered some of the trees, rocks, and most of the ground. It was much easier on the eyes than the moss forest that it was connected to. She blinked and her eyelid concealed her bright blue irises for a fraction of a second. There was a lot more sunlight in this area, since the trees weren't clumped together in the clearing to prevent the sunlight from reaching the ground. But this also means that a chilly wind could creep up on her at any second.
The comfy moss underneath her black, hardened paw pads made her realized how tired she was. It made her longed for the night time where she could be safe back at her burrow in the camp where she could snooze the night away. Aeris could take a nap right here if she wanted to, but won't. She just thinks that it is ridiculous to do something like that. The pale colored wolf was here for a certain reason and she wasn't gonna rest until she finished it. The only thing is that the assassin couldn't recall what her reason was to be in this part of the words. The wolf stopped in her tracks and tried to remember. Why was I out here again? Was it to take care of some problems or something She had too many thoughts going around in her head to call to mind it. Aeris sighed and let out a small growl at herself afterward. It wasn't like her to forget things like this easily. The she wolf felt ashamed at herself for forgetting a simple task. If I can't remember something so simple, then I'm as useless as... Another growl escaped her jaws, except this time it had a more hushed tone. "Forgive me Orion, you must be ashamed of wolves like me. " The wolf murmured under her breath.
Then out of no-where, she had a strange feeling like someone or something was there. Aeris then turned into a lucid form of herself, invisible to a wolf's eye. Her ears stood upright, and was alert for any signs of life. Raising her black nose high into the air, she took a quick sniff or two. Nothing, or nothing that smells out of the ordinary. The humidity of the air here made it hard for her to distinguish any scents from another. Aeris heard the rustling of bushes behind her and turned around to face whatever it was. A small piglet that was separated from its mother emerged from the bush. Once it caught sight of the pale silvery she-wolf, it ran away from her. Even though her current form is invisible to most wolves, it doesn't mean that other creatures can't see her. She was tempted to chase it, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to kill it in this form. Her fangs would probably just slip right through it. "That seemed like a perfectly nice piece of prey gone to waste. A pup probably could have caught it." Aeris chastised herself. Her voice was also inaudible in this form, and could only be heard by herself and non-canine creatures.
