e yes ✦A soft grey. The pupils disappear and the eyes glow silver when he is using his power or is meditating.
f ur ✦ Sior is very dark, a grey just shy of black. There are three white stripes across his haunches, two on his neck/withers, three along his snout, and one stripe curved like a crescent moon facing downward across each cheek. The tops of his front paws and the bottom of his forelegs are also white. There is one red marking alone his left shoulder: a red paw print, which signifies his status as Shaman of the Cassiopeia.
a ppearance ✦ Sior is a good example of an ideal Cassiopeian build: he has thick, rounded claws to increase grip; his fur is very thick and shaggy, with a wiry top-coat and a downy undercoat; his legs are long to stride through deep snow; he even has the characteristic, barrel-chest that houses the larger-than-standard lungs and heart. His body is lean, all the easier to scale the rocks of the pack’s home. His tail is, somewhat unusually, long. Like all Cassiopeians, he has a thin membrane that functions as a third eyelid to protect from snow-blindness.
Though he is tall by some standards, he is hardly the largest in the pack, and falls into the ‘average’ category in terms of Cassiopeian size. His posture is almost always relaxed.
p ower ✦ Just as Sior's mind always seemed suited to the spiritual lifestyle of the Shaman, so too does his power. When Sior enters a state of deep meditation, his spirit can leave his body. When his spirit is freed, he exists and is visible in both the Spirit realm (Or the Astral realm, as some know it) and the physical realm. Considering the strength of his Spirit Guide, Bison, he is a force to be reckoned with in that space beyond our lands. However, in the physical world, though his spirit is seen, it is unable to cause any physical damage. What little damage he can cause spiritually or mentally is almost incosequential - it causes even less if the wolf is not particularly open to the Other Side.
His form is slightly stronger if a spirit or totem animal allows him use of their form. For example, he may always take the spirit form of a buffalo, because of his Spirit Guide, Bison. He might also take the form of a guide who is with him temporarily. He can use these forms to scout and pass along important messages, or even to startle and distract enemies in order for his own pack to get away. In order for him to mantain this spirit form, his physical body must not be disturbed. He is extremely vulnerable at this time. If he's lucky, his spirit will just be tugged back to his body. If he's unlucky, however... well, he's not quite sure what would happen if his body was destroyed while his spirit was absent.

p ros ✦ Very relaxed and harmonious; forgiving; wise
c ons ✦ That same 'wise' nature can get on another's nerves; has a very hard time understanding accepting violence (as in, not a hunt or a kill of protection); can be distant
q uirks ✦ Being in touch with the spirits can be someone distracting, and sometimes it’s as if he’s carrying on more than one conversation at a time. This can lead to some confusion when he responds to a query with a completely unrelated answer. However, most of the other wolves in Cassiopeia just take this as part-and-parcel of the Shaman trade.
p ersonality ✦ As the pack Shaman, Sior has been learning the ways of peace and spirituality since the day he became a yearling and started his training. As such, he is perhaps one of the calmest wolves you’ll ever meet. Very rarely does he express anger or frustration – it’s not that he hides these emotions: he doesn’t find much reason to feel them! Of course, he’s had years of practice.
He takes great thought before speaking, because even the smallest ripple in the pond can cause great changes upon the shore. Quiet, knowledgeable, he believes strongly that the Great Spirit guides one in all things, and that spirituality is key to a happy life. Not only that, but he practices what he preaches. He is more than happy to help a wolf in guided meditation or when one seeks their path in life.
All the world is beautiful to him, and he does his best not to destroy any part of it. Even though he understands that fighting is sometimes necessary, it is to be only the last resort. He would rather talk an enemy down than be forced to kill. He is utterly devoted though, and would die without fear if he believed it was his purpose. Sior’s complete confidence that all things meant to happen, will, can rub a few of the younger, feistier Cassiopeians the wrong way.

h istory ✦ Since practically the day he was born, he was meant to become a Shaman. His mother and father, as well as the Medicine wolf of the pack at the time, were surprised at his natural affinity with nature and the spirits of the world. The Shaman just chuckled and told them to send little Sior to him when the pup was old enough. Sure enough, Sior appeared before the Shaman the very day he became a yearling and hasn’t turned back since.
He spent his first year learning lessons from the Shaman, as well as the usual lessons given to all Cassiopeians. It helped that he found his life-long spirit guide, Bison, not long after he began his training. He officially became a Medicine Wolf at two, and a year and a half later, just before the Shaman passed, he pronounced Sior as the next Shaman. Though Sior was relatively young to become a Shaman, he had the knowledge and talent.
o ther ✦ As mentioned, Sior has found his permanent spirit guide, Bison. Though he is regularly in contact with other spirits, as well as having some temporary spirit-guides come to him to teach him lessons Bison could not, Bison has always been there to lend him stability and remind him of the interconnected ways of the world.
