e yes ✦ Dusky orange-gold, black pupils.
f ur ✦ Most of her pelt is a soft, brownish-gold that blends well with the grasses of the plains in warm summers. Naturally, she is lighter along her belly, chest, and throat, as well as the underside of her tail. The gold is replaced by a burnished, rusty red along her back and stretching over her shoulders and flanks, with that same color marking her back right paw and circling her eyes.
a ppearance ✦ Viena's golden brown-and-rust color schemes fits her home on the plains of Andromeda. The coat is short and bristly, protecting her from overheating and the saw grasses and burs that might pick at her skin. Long legs and blunt claws, her body is quite streamlined, made to run, and run, and run (which she does often, considering how easy it is to frighten her). She often looks around with wide eyes, on the alert for any danger, even when surrounded by her fellow wolves.
p ower ✦ Viena's quite flashy at getaways. With her ability to manipulate light particles, she's able to dazzle her enemies, giving her time to escape. She can concentrate light into a large beam (it just gets warm, and doesn't actually hurt - it's more for blinding enemies), turn herself into a living night-light, or even push those same particles away when she's in the dark, enabling her to hide in shadows completely.
However, that's under the best of circumstances. With how twitchy and nervous she is, it's easy for her to lose track of her powers. She glows when she's frightened, and the more scared she is, the brighter it gets. In fact, when she's startled, she goes through 'dandelion mode', where light poofs off her body in a small 'explosion', much like a dandelion puff when struck.

p ros ✦ Rarely causes trouble; fairly easy to get along with; good at following orders; a good distraction when needed; lights up dark places (literally); her nervous tendencies also make her very good at keeping track of things.
c ons ✦ She's got some phobias and freaks out accordingly when exposed to each; she doesn't know what to do if she's without structure; has a hard time controlling her power; could be easily abused by those higher up in the pack; easily manipulated
q uirks ✦ She's got a lot of phobias. She's afraid of drowning (she won't go near deep water at all), fire, fighting, disease (she avoids sick wolves like, well, the plague - and long-dead animals are also suspect), ghosts, being without her pack, being alone in general, leaving pack territory (it's her version of Agoraphobia), lightning, and vultures.
p ersonality ✦ In a perfect world, Viena would be quite a nice wolf to get along with. She doesn't cause trouble, she's sweet and polite, eager to please. Her trust in authority is nigh-on fanatical (it is in this way that she is easily manipulated). But this is for a reason...
For whatever reason, Viena's afraid of just about... well, everything. Drowning, fire, thunder, ghosts, vultures. She'd never leave her pack, because leaving her pack means leaving her territory, and that would be even worse than being killed! Should one force her into contact with any of her phobias, she'll be heading straight for full-blow Panic-ville, complete with foaming jaws and black-out. These are the only things she'd resist, if her beloved King or Queen asked it of her.
The structure of Andromeda helps keep her sane, and she follows the laws religiously. If she even thinks she might have broken one of the rules, she'll be the first to appear before a Bishop and seek penance (she may even get on their nerves if they aren't high on patience). And because the Law demands it (she doesn't question it one bit), she is always eager to help her fellow wolves. Some may say she doesn't have a spine, but those wolves have probably never seen her standing firm on an order given to her by the Rulers.
Other than that, she's cheerful and pleasant, quite the conversationalist, actually. She's proud of her pack and will do anything she can to help them. Because she's a bit afraid of fighting, she can easily take on the role of peacemaker between two rivals within the pack. But if it's an outsider, she's more likely to shrink back and let them take their hits. She doesn't hold anything against them - she's too nice for that - but she won't stop it. The King's word is law.

h istory Viena's mother, though slightly neurotic, was far from incapacitated by her (relatively few) fears, and her father was an upstanding citizen in the Andromeda pack. So that's why things get a little confusing, when looking upon the week of her birth and Viena's subsequent 'quirks'.
For whatever reason, instead of sticking around to have the pups near the den, Viena's mother disappeared deep into the plains. Some say it was because she'd actually had a torrid affair with a wolf from another pack, and she was going to allow the 'true' father to see the pups just once, out of guilt. Others say that she sensed something wrong within her body, and left to protect the pack. No one knows for sure.
One week after Viena's mother had disappeared (even her mate hadn't been able to find the wolf), there was a bright, shining light far off in the distance, away from pack lands and towards Orion territory (thus fueling the rumours even more). Instead of it being high in the night sky, such as a comet, this was far closer to earth. An hour passed, than two. The light on the ground grew closer and smaller, instead of larger. Finally, Viena's mother appeared. Her eyes were glazed, pupils so constricted, they were nothing but tiny dots in the burning iris. In her mouth, she carried a frantic, squealing pup that glowed like a tiny star.
Though the mother was burning with some unknown fever, she dropped the pup in the midst of the pack before walking away, never saying a word. She was not seen again. Her mate tried to follow her, but he, too, vanished.
Because Andromeda takes care of its own, Viena was placed with another mother, Danae, who had recently lost one of her own and had the space for another. Despite the fae treating this pup as no different than her own, it was clear Viena was... odd. She was far more frightened than her adopted siblings, constantly staying close to Danae and hiding in her fur. She learned to speak far later than the others. Eventually, when Danae passed, Viena's fears turned into full-blown phobias.
