a ppearance ✦ With its cast of complex markings, Legend's fur is hard to describe. In a nutshell, he's a gray wolf, literally gray. His eyes, always slightly bugged out and tense, as if he is constantly waiting for impending doom, are mainly yellow with a bright sea-green. Much of his face is slate, a darkish gray color with a slight hint of blue, mixed silver, and a navy that lines his muzzle and covers the outside of his ears. The navy runs down most of his back and the beginning of his tail, which happens to be a mottled assortment of all the colors on his pelt, as well as its tip. His chest is silver, which runs down his forelegs, ending in navy paws. His underbelly is a darker silver, while a mix of gray and slate make up his flanks and back legs. One toe on his right paw and all of his left paws are silver.
However, most striking are the eye-like markings on his fur. On his forehead and temples, encompassing his head, are patterns that appear to resemble eyes. And the markings on either side of his flanks is a large marking akin to a wolf eye, spouting tears that run down his black legs.
He has scars around his right eye and is slightly cross-eyed in that eye (but you can't really notice), as well as on the centermost "eye marking" on his forehead.
In general, Legend looks older than he really is, perhaps due to stress. He is well-built (looking back on his life, you'd think he'd be a pampered, pudgy old king), not hefty, just well-built. He has the stature of one who wouldn't do badly at holding his own in a fight, and one who would be a decent hunter (if only he hunted). However, having the best of both worlds but leaning slightly to the fighting side, he isn't excellent at either.
p ower ✦ Sight. Three hundred and a full sixty degrees of sight. It's a strange power, not as useful as some, and perhaps weak, considering the fact that he's Andromeda's king--you'd expect his power to be strong and powerful. But that's not to say that sight is a weak thing, regardless of who you are. It can be extremely useful, especially when you are plagued with such worries as Legend is.
How, exactly, he is able to see all around him, well, that's pretty unclear. He only has his two eyes in the front of his head, but looping around his head are circular silver markings. They have no pupils, they are simply colorations on his fur. But it is suspected that, somehow, he sees through these.
How does the world look to someone who can see everything that is happening around him? No blind spots whatsoever? We can only imagine.

p ros ✦ proud, responsible, hard worker
c ons ✦ paranoid, egotistical, untrustworthy
q uirks ✦ Well his paranoia is a notable quirk, if I say so myself. He walks around very stiff-leggedly and his fur eyes always on end. Rarely can anyone make him calm enough to relax. He has this constant tense look about his eyes, as if he expects someone to hop out of the bushes to attack him at any moment.
p ersonality ✦ Before anything else, I feel that you should know that Legend here is is plagued by an acute bout of paranoia. If you couldn't tell by the way he has distorted the Andromeda's ranks, making positions for assassins and wolves who spy on the packs' very members, his greatest fear is usurpation, that, somehow, someone might take his rightful throne and disgrace him, disgrace his whole family and his ancestors and his lineage. His family has watched over the Andromeda for who knows how long, and kingship is his birthright; he's not about to pass on his greatness to any old cur that comes his way with a snarl on his lips.
But once you get past his wary-eyed, challenging stare, the structure of a royal king starts to form. Legend is extremely proud, that's for sure, of his position and of his pack. No one, no one is going to insult the Andromeda on his watch. Why, the Andromeda is great, superior! The other packs are fools to try to interfere with their way of life. And as for himself, well, he knows his place. His Royal Highness expects to be bowed to by those under him (which would amount to pretty much everyone except for his nonexistent mate, as if he could truly find love the way he is), and will punish those especially in the lower end of the pack if they refuse to do so. Imagine the Red Queen shouting "Off with their heads!" and you get a pretty good picture of how Legend might carry himself.
As his name suggests (his name wasn't his fault, by the way, although he loves it), he can be quite egotistical. But wouldn't you be egotistical, too, if you had known you were destined for greatness from birth? Such is the way of the Andromeda: the firstborn of the king and queen, from the moment he or she is born, will be top dog in the greatest pack as soon as he or she is in his or her prime and his or her parents are old and weary.
Additionally, Legend tends to be quite untrustworthy. Spades are usually close friends of his, wolves he feels have a lower chance of lying to him. Even then, he doesn't trust them fully, and doesn't believe anything one hundred percent unless he sees it with his own eyes. Due to past experiences, he feels that even those closest to him could turn on him at any moment.
But once you get through these factors here, you'll find that he isn't really all that bad. Legend is, in fact, a pretty good leader. When it comes to running the Andromeda, perhaps his attitude towards his subjects could use improvement, but he does seem to know what he's doing. He has a strong sense of responsibility to the Andromeda and, despite his ego, knows very well that without its members, it would be nothing. Perhaps because of this, he has sudden and temporary bursts of kindness, randomly walking up to a hunter and telling her that she's done a good job, or telling some yearling that he'll grow to be a strong, excellent wolf. He can have sympathy for hard workers, but he has no tolerance for slackers who just take from his pack without contributing. Andromeda is proudly known for its busybodies, not its lazy brats--you can go to Orion for that!
Furthermore, although he might not trust you, you can trust him in a tight spot. He's an intelligent wolf, and he'll either fight his way out or talk his way out. (Cold, harsh words are a favored weapon of his.) Following up with his intelligence, he's hard to trick and can see through many disguises (perhaps 360 degrees of sight helps with that).

h istory ✦ The current king of Andromeda was, of course, the firstborn of the previous king and queen. His parents expected great things from him, of all wolves, hence his name, which suggests that he will, indeed, be able to go down in history as a notable ruler and, therefore, he has great expectations of himself. He expects that he should be able to lead the Andromeda to greatness which is why, perhaps, he is so particular about everyone in the pack living up to their full potential.
Legend grew up a pampered pup, never learning until he was much older the full burden of being a leader. Though you can say he still lives in luxury, having no one pestering him to do a better job, eating first, and all that, he does find being Andromeda's king to be a stressful job, but he wouldn't have it any other way; it was what he was born to do, and he expects to do it to the extreme best of his ability.
The incident that made him paranoid as he his occurred soon after he accepted his position as king. He had an especially close relationship with his brother, the second-born of their litter, Lore. What he did not know was that, all that time, Lore was envious of his position as king. He thought he deserved the position, not Legend. He came up with a plot to overthrow his brother and, suddenly, Legend found himself being viciously attacked by the wolf he held most dear. They were evenly matched, and it was life or death--both brothers knew it. Legend, perhaps because of his special site stopping Lore from using any stealth attacks, finally emerged the disturbed winner. He had killed his own brother--but not without casualties. To this day, he bears the scars around his face and right eye (Lore tried to blind him and stop his power) that remind him of the fight. Ever since, he has been unable to trust others, constantly plagued by the fear that, at any moment, someone might try to usurp his throne.
